Kate's First Communion

Isn't she gorgeous? She did a beautiful job, and we couldn't be more proud.

Christopher's First Communion

Yeah, I don't think you could get any more handsome. And he's a good kid, to boot! We really lucked out in this family!

Spring Break

This Spring Break has been fabulous. I've gotten so much done and I feel refreshed and productive.

I've uploaded a few pictures from this week. The above "Thunder Over Louisville" shot was taken right outside our house. What's that? You're still waiting to get out of the parking garage? Well, you should've just come here and had a beer on the porch with us instead.

My garden got the bulk of my time this week. Paintings will have to wait.

Friends and family also get a shout-out:

Eric and the washer spent some quality time together. And, yes, it magically works. No leftover parts!

More fun to come tomorrow, when we celebrate my Mom's 70th birthday in Bloomington. Until then, drive safely. ;)

Louisville Websites

I've recently discovered these great sites about Louisville:

> www.metromapper.org: Map of Louisville with info on houses for sale, restaurant info and ratings, and even historical map overlays
> www.consuminglouisville.com: Blog featuring lots of interesting local events

One that I really want to be applicable to Louisville is www.neighborrow.com, where you can post things you could loan out (lawnmowers, CDs, books, etc.). I may try and start one for Old Louisville. I could really use a flame thrower.

P.S. It's Spring Break - finally! I will hopefully have some good yard shots and maybe even some painting progress over the next week. I am so excited.
